PREFAZIONE DEL MANAGEMENT

It was 1983 when it all began, with a simple yet ambitious idea: to bring quality and expertise to the world of critical fluids. Forty years later, that vision has not faded. On the contrary, it has evolved to embrace a new chapter, perhaps the most important one: responsibility toward the planet and people.

At Italprotec Industries, sustainability is not a label, it is embedded in our corporate DNA. Renewable energy, plant efficiency, certified materials, responsible design: every operational choice is made with the goal of leaving a lighter footprint. Since 2003, this commitment has taken concrete form through certified management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and since 2022 through an ESG Report that transparently measures every step forward.

We are part of Indutrade, a global group that strengthens us without diminishing our Italian entrepreneurial spirit. With the right partners by our side, we look ahead, aware of the challenges, yet certain of one thing: creating lasting value for people, businesses, and the future.

ENVIRONMENT

SUSTAINABILITY OBJECTIVES 2030

ENVIRONMENT
Climate action is a strategic priority. Indutrade group companies have aligned their targets with the Science Based Targets initiative to limit global warming to 1.5°C and aims to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050. Targets include reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030 (90% by 2050) and Scope 3 emissions by 25% by 2030 (90% by 2050), compared to 2023. The Group supports its companies through structured analysis, guidance, and concrete measures to reduce carbon emissions.

Responsible resource management is an integral part of our operations. Over the past ten years, the company has implemented a structured energy efficiency program across its facilities, progressively improved building performance, and transitioned toward the use of renewable energy sources.

At the same time, we have adopted low-impact technologies, including LED lighting, process optimization measures, and high-efficiency solutions, to systematically reduce energy consumption and emissions intensity. We are also gradually electrifying our corporate fleet and optimizing transportation and logistics flows, prioritizing service providers that utilize alternative and environmentally friendly fuels wherever feasible. These actions reflect a long-term commitment to reducing our environmental footprint while strengthening operational efficiency and resilience.

SUSTAINABLE SHIPPING

DHL Go Green Plus
For years, Italprotec Industries has been concretely committed to reducing the CO₂e emissions of its shipments by working with logistics operators that use Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

For this reason, we have chosen DHL as our partner, sharing a common commitment to making more sustainable choices.

Until last year, our shipments were transported using the GoGreen Standard service; today they travel with DHL GoGreen Plus. Through this initiative, we further reduce the environmental impact of our logistics operations thanks to the increased use of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel). SAF, when blended with conventional jet fuel, can reduce CO₂e emissions by up to 80%*.

The same speed as always better for the Planet.
