Quick couplings - reusable connections

Quick couplings are among the most widely used in industry, since besides warranting a high coupling speed, they can be applied in various fields. They are user-friendly, extremely reliable, quick to connect and available in a huge range of materials: that is why they are the key to the conveying of corrosive fluids and hot and poisonous chemicals.
Speed-Lock ® quick couplings are built in compliance with A-A-59326 specifications (formerly MIL-C-27487) and DIN 2828, which guarantee their absolute inter-changeability, casting methods, materials, dimensions, tolerance, working pressures and testing procedures.

Fittings and quick couplings are available in various materials
  • SS lined with PFA (virgin or conductive), PP and PVDF
  • cam and groove quick couplings in SS 316, bronze, aluminium, PP and PVDF
  • stainless steel fittings various grades 316, 316L, 304 and 304L
  • safety clamps according DIN 2817/2826 (SAFELOK) in SS 316, brass and aluminium
  • special couplings and their spare parts such as gaskets, arms, pins etc.

PFA-lined fittings in compliance with FDA regulations

They are used when quality, reliability and chemical resistance are required to ensure high performance and reduction of maintenance costs. PFA-lined fittings are as safe and reliable as crimping ones; moreover, their lining makes them the right choice when highly corrosive chemicals are present. The lined fittings are suitable for pharmaceutical applications. Unlike PTFE, PFA lining is perfectly anchored to the stainless steel fitting, both on the hose shank (thanks to clearance holes) and on the dovetail sealing surface. The lining (through a transfermoulding process) is very precise and this assures a uniform flow-rate even in low nominal bore fittings.

Technical design

Stainless steel fittings for pharmaceutical and food applications have been specially designed to reduce dead zones to the minimum. All the fittings have an anti-ejection coupling slot to guarantee the utmost safety of the operator.
