Standard range of proflex ® hoses
The wide range of available materials makes it easy to find a solution to corrosion, abrasion and contamination of conveyed media. It includes:

• smooth and convoluted PTFE, FEP and MFA hoses

• silicone tubing (peroxide or platinum cured) for conveying sterile fluids and food products
• UPE (high atomic weight Polyethylene) and EPM
• EPDM, PU (ethylene-propylene copolymer) and NBR hoses for various uses

• Multy-plie composite flexible hoses with PP, PTFE or UPE inner

• SS 316L and SS 321 with parallel convolutions and stainless steel braid

Smooth and convoluted flexible hoses are made of virgin or conductive PTFE with SS 304 or Polypropylene external braid.

Stainless steel fittings assembled on Silicone flexible hoses have been specially designed to reduce dead zones to the minimum. Flexible hoses and fittings for pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries are made of materials that are in accordance with FDA (Par. 21 177.2600, Par. 21 177.1520, Par. 21 177.1550), U.S. Pharmacopoeia Class VI, European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9, D.M. for foodstuff and BfR part XV standards. According to what is prescribed in the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/CE, all the flexible hoses are classified either in the schedule VIII (dangerous fluids) or in the schedule IX (non dangerous fluids), and according to art. 3 par. 3 are not subjected to CE marking.
